My First Stitches...with a Sewing Machine

I've been dying to try out my new sewing machine that Troy bought for me for Christmas.  Here is a picture of my first stitches.  I have never sewn with a machine before so it was a lot of fun learning how to thread the bobbin and needle....NOT!  My plan is to do fun stitching on scrapbook pages.  This could be addicting!  :)

Two Page Purple Layout

Here is a two page layout I finished recently using House of 3 paper and a couple of star buttons.  The purple cardstock is K&Company.  I printed the House of 3 paper out at home and my ink was running low so the colors are off.  I was disappointed at first but I used what printed and just picked cardstock to match.  I call it the Purple Layout.  And of course Jack is in every picture.  The first page is about a summer day Jack spent fishing with Troy.  The second page Jack is wearing a pair of my high heels paired with his camo baseball hat.

Merry Christmas to Me!

This is the first post of my scrapbooking blog.  I had a personal/family blog in the recent past but for some reason I can no longer sign into the account.  I'm taking it as a sign to start this new blog and have it solely for scrapbooking and crafting purposes.  I am super excited.  Here is a picture of the wreath I made for the holidays.  It's the first wreath I made.  It was actually a lot easier to make than I thought.
I'm not sure if I will be posting anything tomorrow, but will definitely post something on Sunday the 26th.  Have a fun and safe Holiday!
