Dinosaur Layout

Pictures from August 2010 at Walking with Dinosaurs
Spent the day with my sister yesterday on her birthday doing some crafting.  This is the only layout I completed, but I had fun.  The green cardstock is Coredinations and the Dinosaur paper and stickers are My Mind's Eye.  I used distress inks from Ranger and Close to My Heart.  Also, the paper distresser and corner rounder are Close to My Heart.  Journaling was done with a Creative Memory Metallic Pen and twine (borrowed from my sister's stash) was used in the sticker tags.

Beaded Corsage Pins

I had fun today craft shopping with my sister Cheryl!  We went to the new Hobby Lobby in our area and I discovered that they have a lot of Prima products there.  I'm doomed!  My sister and I do a lot of craft shopping and we feel like we don't do enough crafting, so we cut the shopping short today and went our separate ways to craft.  I made some beaded corsage pins.  It's addicting!  The pins and beads are from Michael's.  Some of the pins I colored with a Copic marker, Ultramarine Blue.  The brown colored pins are colored with Adirondack alcohol inks.  I mixed blue, red and green together.  After trying to use a hot glue gun and failing, I used glossy accents for glue.  I will use these pins for scrapbooking and card making.  Thanks for visiting my blog!  :)

Summer Bike Layout

This is the layout I've been trying to finish since last weekend.  I completed the title during my Ustream show yesterday and finished embellishing after the show.  The paper is Die Cuts with a View Linen Closet and some Kraft paper.  The stickers are from Colorbök.  For the title I used three different Cricut cartridges...Jasmine, Pooh Font and Accent Essentials.  I used my Gypsy for the title mainly for the purpose of welding letters together.  And of course I used my favorite tools and products:  Fiskars rotary cutter, Creative Memories corner rounder, Stazon Timber Brown ink and a black Zig pen.  If you're interested in my videos, I have the links for my Ustream show and YouTube vids in the right hand column.  Also, I'm thinking I should do a product GIVEAWAY soon!!! I will pick winners from my blog followers.  If interested in a chance to win scrapbooking products please follow my blog by clicking on "Follow" in the right hand column.  I will pick winners in early February.  International followers are welcome to participate for a chance to win. Thanks for visiting!  :)

Simple Layout...Blast from the Past

Filling my urge to blog is a picture of a very simple layout I did maybe...last year?  The only things I used were paper and cardstock from Die Cuts with a View, my Cricut to cut out 'March 09' and a marker to write the title.  I didn't even round the corners of the pictures with my beloved corner rounder-GASP!  Will try to do a new layout over the weekend and post in the next few days.  Thanks for visiting!  :)

Pirate Layout

Hi Everybody!  I found some time to scrap today-Yeah!!!  I used to be a chronological scrapper, but now I like to go through the heaping piles of pictures and scrap the ones I'm inspired by.  Today I chose pics from the summer with a pirate theme.  I used paper from Die Cuts with a View.  The big pirate ship is cut from a 12x12 Hambly ScreenPrint transparency.  The stickers are Fiskars from 2008.  I had fun doing this layout!
