Fun Scrapbooking Crop Day

Bloody Mary Morning!

Our day of scrapbooking and crafting started with a great vegetable breakfast drink.  Thanks Tim!  :)

We all did our own thing.  Amanda and I worked on our scrapbook pages.  Beth worked on her special scrap book about her sweet grandchild.

Tanya made a cool mini album and fell in love with some new products.

Colleen and Grace

Colleen and Grace made beautiful invitations and cute critter cards.

Cheryl made some awesome cards and envelopes.  She experimented with some new techniques!  She also had a huge tote bag that we all want!

The tote that is bigger than my sister.

A very special Thank You to the Suamico Ale House and their 8 foot tables.  Thank You to Harry who helped keep the room warm and the sports off the TV.  Thanks to everyone who came to share some crafting and fun!!!

Summer Fun Layout

Featuring a Coed Baby Shower and a Pool Party
I didn't realize until now that I basically used paper, a pen, and punches for this layout.  The patterned paper is Heidi Grace One Sunny Day and the dark blue cardstock is from The Paper Company.  I really love the Heidi Grace paper.  The title is cut from my cricut using Beyond Birthdays.  I used the Fiskars 2 inch scallop punch, the We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper, and of course the Creative Memories corner rounder.  I inked the edges of the paper with Distress Inks from Ranger.  The white pen is the Signo uni-ball.

Thanks for checking out my blog.  Feel free to leave a comment, I love reading them!  :)

Journal/Picture Mini Book

I was inspired to do this December Daily Journal by Ali Edwards and Katie Scott.  It took a little bit of a different direction than I thought and it took a lot longer to do than I anticipated.  December is a busy month and I had trouble deciding which pictures to use or not use.  I will do this again this year but not for December, maybe one of the busy summer months.   Maybe I can even get an album together ahead of time....
Thanks for watching my video and visiting my blog. :)

Canvas Layout Display

I needed and wanted another place in the living room to display completed scrapbook pages so I altered a large canvas with old book pages and mod podge.  Sorry the picture of it isn't the greatest.  I'm still trying to figure out how and where in the house to get the best lighting.  The layouts in the picture are from February  2009.  :)
Glimmer misted flowers and Distressed leaves
The little green curly thing is the wire from the leaf wrapped around a small paint brush handle. This I learned to do from Heidi Bound.  Her blog is GothamCityStampers and her Ustream is HeidiStampNYC.  She is awesome!

I used brads to attach Tim Holtz clips. The ribbon is from my Mom.  Also, you can't see it but the sides of the canvas were "painted" with glimmer mist and the edges were inked with Ranger Distress Inks.
